Humanitarian Engineering Scholars (HES) Competition
Homeless Shelter Design Project
Nick Krammer and Cade Gayagoy
Wednesdays 7-8pm Dreese Lab 267
The HES competition focuses on aiding homeless individuals in the Columbus area. Participants will design, build, and implement a technology that will provide shelter to individuals who face homelessness in the Columbus area. ECOS will first conduct a needs assessment in the community through interviews with
- homeless individuals,
- service providers, and
- other experts in this field. Extensive research and design analysis will be completed, so that a final design can be built and implemented.
This project is brand new and will work with the Humanitarian Engineering Scholars Program. Please reach out to the project leader(s) with any questions!
